Hunter and Cook magazine is pleased to announce its first fundraiser auction featuring works by Canada's best contemporary artists. The funds raised will go to the operation of the magazine and 50% to the artists who have donated work.The auction promises to give collectors of contemporary art an opportunity to acquire some great pieces.The event will be held at Georgia Scherman Projects, 133 Tecumseth St. Previews will be available on the day of the auction from 11 am - 4 pm and 6 pm - 7 pm. Live auction will begin at 7 pm on Thursday April 29th. Auctioneer is Stephen Ranger. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door. Ticket price includes paddle, open bar and food by Matty Matheson of Oddfellows. Absentee and phone bids can be arranged by contacting us at hunterandcook@gmail.com
